Three days ago I downloaded the Nick plugin and not only didn't it work in my latest version of Photoshop but it crashed my Windows 10 system and I had to do a repair install. Once the software I have becomes obsolete, I will move over to their better known rival like most of my photographer colleagues already have.Ī Windows 10 crash and no reply from support. I cannot recommend this company or their products any longer and definitely advise anyone in the market to avoid them. But now they are unwilling to be reasonable and salvage a relationship with a paying customer. I bought DxO Photolab 3 and less than a month later, they released version 4 and I was able to upgrade with no hassle. One reason I went with them instead of Adobe, is because it was supposed to be a lifetime license you only had to purchase once. I contacted support about it, and was told that they would only honor upgrades if you purchased on or after 5/20/21 and that they would make no exceptions to this policy. Today, they released a new version of it, Nik 4, and when I logged into my account to upgrade, I was instead given the option to purchase a paid upgrade for $60. One I recently purchased just 16 days ago. I have two products offered by this company. ![]()
